Starting today, March 16, the Digital Land Bank enters its pilot operation phase, marking the first step towards enabling the Transfer of Building Factor process via a modern digital system that guarantees transparency, speed, and reliability. This initiative is led by the Ministries of Environment & Energy and Digital Governance & Artificial Intelligence, reflecting a political choice with a strong institutional and developmental impact. For the first time, a tool that has been stuck in bureaucratic delays and administrative inefficiencies for decades now has a clear application framework and digital support.

The launch of the Digital Land Bank addresses long-standing institutional pending issues in the protection of the built environment, thereby facilitating the necessary bureaucratic processes surrounding real estate and urban planning.
