19-year-old Estonian racer continues to strive for the top: the goal is the European Championship title
19-year-old Estonian racer Ruben Volt is competing in the TCR Europe series this season, aiming for the European Championship title after finishing seventh last season.
Ruben Volt, a 19-year-old racer from Estonia, is set to participate in the TCR Europe series this season, with the opening event taking place in Mugello, Italy. Competing under the ALM Motorsport team with a Honda Civic Type R FL5 TCR car, Volt aims for ambitious goals this year, moving up from a seventh-place finish last season.
Volt has expressed his determination to win the championship title, stating that after enough experience, he intends to set only higher objectives. Despite a challenging first half of the previous season filled with misfortunes, he noted that the latter part ended positively and believes consistent performance will be key moving forward.
For the upcoming season, Volt will continue to race the same Honda model as last year, as no manufacturers at the start have introduced newer technology. His new teammate for this season, Max Hart, finished eighth overall last year, just behind Volt. The TCR Europe series calendar for this season includes six events, with only Spa and Barcelona appearing on the schedule again from last year, indicating a competitive season ahead.
