According to a Bloomberg report, the price of Urals crude oil from Russia arriving in India has surged to a record high of $98.93 per barrel, inclusive of shipping charges. This spike is attributed to a discount on Russian oil announced by former U.S. President Donald Trump, impacting global oil prices. The rising costs of Urals crude for India underscore the challenges facing the country amidst heightened geopolitical tensions and energy market volatility.
