Car hits rear of truck and driver is trapped in the wreckage in MS
A driver was trapped in the wreckage after a car collided with a truck in Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil, necessitating a rescue by firefighters.
On the morning of Monday, October 16, a serious accident occurred on BR-060 in Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil, where a car hit the rear of a truck near Bolicho Seco, between Campo Grande and Sidrolândia. The truck, which was moving at a low speed towards Sidrolândia, was struck from behind by the car, leading to significant damage and injury. After the impact, the driver of the car got trapped in the wreckage and required the assistance of firefighters to be extricated from the vehicle.
Once freed, the injured driver was taken to a hospital in Sidrolândia for medical treatment. The accident involved a total of four individuals; while two of them emerged from the crash unscathed, one other person suffered minor injuries and received care from the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu).
