Hassan Jahangir, the original artist of 'Hawa Hawa', recently spoke on the Pakistani morning show hosted by Nida Yasir about the renewed success of his song. He expressed his joy at how the song has resonated with younger audiences and acknowledged the efforts made by the filmmakers to use his work; they sought his permission and compensated him with $50,000, amounting to approximately 46 lakh Indian Rupees.
Jahangir highlighted the film's massive financial success, mentioning its production cost of 300 crores and earnings of around 1100 crores, showcasing the impact and drive of contemporary Bollywood cinema.
