Man shot dead after argument in Barra Mansa

A 46-year-old man was shot and killed following a dispute in Barra Mansa, Rio de Janeiro.

A tragic incident occurred in Barra Mansa, Rio de Janeiro, where a 46-year-old man was fatally shot after an argument. The altercation reportedly took place at a bar involving the victim and an unidentified individual, with tensions having previously arisen between the two men about two months prior. After leaving the bar, the victim returned home, where he was shot when he went outside to investigate a barking dog.

According to the police, despite managing to flee back inside his home after being shot, the victim succumbed to his injuries. A forensic team responded to the crime scene to gather evidence that could assist in the ongoing investigation. The body was subsequently transported to the Medical Legal Institute (IML) in Volta Redonda, a neighboring city, for further examination.

The police also noted that security cameras in the area captured footage of two unidentified suspects involved in the shooting. This evidence may provide crucial leads in determining the identity of the assailants and understanding the full circumstances surrounding this violent event, which has raised concerns about safety in the community.
