A duo of motorbike thieves carried out a series of ring thefts in Santo André, Brazil, on Friday.

On Friday, a pair of thieves on a motorcycle executed at least four ring thefts in Santo André, located in Greater São Paulo. Security cameras captured parts of their criminal actions, showcasing the brazen nature of the crimes which occurred within a span of less than two hours. The criminals took advantage of multiple opportunities at the same stop, targeting more than one victim in quick succession.

The first robbery took place on Rua Magalhães Barata, where a man was waiting to pick up a delivery outside a property when the suspects approached. They first drove past and then returned to announce the theft. One thief dismounted the motorcycle, confronting the victim at the gate while the accomplice demanded a ring from another individual inside a parked black car nearby. Shortly after, they struck again on the same street, targeting another man who was sitting in a parked silver car, making him relinquish his ring as well before escaping.

This string of thefts raises concerns about public safety in the region, indicating a need for increased police presence and surveillance in urban areas. The rapid succession of the crimes highlights the daring nature of such thefts, suggesting organized methods by the criminals while putting ordinary citizens at risk. The footage recorded may provide vital evidence for law enforcement to apprehend these offenders and deter future incidents of similar nature in the area.
