At a recent Fundraising Dinner for the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) Miracle City, Dr. Daniel Olukoya, the General Overseer, called for Nigerians to intensify their prayers for the nation and its leaders as they face numerous challenges. He emphasized the importance of righteousness, stating, 'Righteousness exalts the nation. Sin is a reproach to any nation,' thereby urging the citizens to not only pray for themselves but also to extend their prayers to the country and its leaders.

Olukoya characterized MFM as a prayer-focused ministry, emphasizing their commitment to spiritual intercession without drawing too much attention to their activities, noting, 'Prayer is not a noisy affair.' He conveyed the ministry’s role in praying for the nation, highlighting their aim to address the needs of individuals seeking help through divine intervention. This call to prayer comes at a time when the nation is grappling with significant socio-economic and political challenges.

He also discussed the ministry’s vision of establishing prayer centers across Nigeria to spread what he referred to as the 'fire of prayer.' This initiative is aimed at fostering a spiritual awakening among Nigerians, encouraging a culture of prayer as a means to combat the various issues facing the country. The establishment of MFM Miracle City in the Gwagwalada Area is part of this broader strategy to create a network of prayer hubs throughout the nation.
