Experts following the situation anticipate that there will be no significant alterations to the rules compared to the previous year. The deadline for filing the Income Tax is slated to be the last business day of May, which will be the 29th this year. Failure to file for those who are obligated will result in a minimum fine of R$ 165.74, which can increase to 20% of the tax owed for the year.
