On the other hand, Soomets and his team Start, who were newly promoted after finishing second in the lower division, also faced a rough start. Their first match ended in a 0-2 defeat against Oslo KFUM, who finished twelfth last season. Soomets came off the bench towards the end of the first half after a teammate was substituted due to injury, but was unable to turn the tide for his team.
