Woman injured in Russian attacks on Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
A woman was injured during Russian strikes in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Ukraine, affecting multiple areas including Nikopol.
Recent Russian artillery and drone strikes in the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast of Ukraine have resulted in injuries and significant damage to property. The Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Military Administration, Oleksandr Hanzha, reported via Telegram that a 71-year-old woman sustained injuries from the attacks which targeted Nikopol and surrounding hromadas, namely Marhanets and Pokrovske. The assault led to the damage of residential buildings and infrastructure in the region.
Hanzha detailed further strikes on the Vasylkivka and Petropavlivka hromadas in the Synelnykove district, indicating that not only were houses impacted but also outbuildings and an agricultural company caught fire as a result of the attacks. These ongoing strikes exemplify the persistent threat faced by civilians in eastern Ukraine amid the ongoing conflict with Russia, highlighting the continued escalation of violence in the region.
