The talks will address the EU's contributions to security guarantees for Ukraine, as well as financial and military support for the country in light of the Kremlin's hybrid threats. This meeting aims to strengthen the collective European response to the war and enhance cooperation in support of Ukraine's recovery and restoration efforts.

In addition to discussions on Ukraine, the ministers will also address the tense geopolitical situation in the Middle East, particularly concerning Iran and the Gulf countries. The aim is to explore the possible role of the EU in helping de-escalate the situation in these regions. The discussions will include a virtual participation from Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, indicating the close collaboration and ongoing dialogue between Ukraine and EU members regarding security and strategic issues.

While in Brussels, Budrys is set to meet with EU Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement, Olivér Várhelyi, and sign an agreement with the European Commission that reflects Lithuania's commitment to support Ukraine with a voluntary contribution of €10 million to the EU's newly created Ukraine support facility.
