Presidente Prudente launches notice to occupy boxes and trailers in the Popular Shopping Mall
The city of Presidente Prudente has issued a public call for entrepreneurs to occupy food stalls and trailers in the Popular Shopping Mall's food court.
The Prefeitura de Presidente Prudente, through its Municipal Secretary of Economic Development, has announced the publication of a public call (edit nΒΊ 01/2026) aimed at selecting entrepreneurs willing to occupy 108 food stalls and four trailers at the Popular Shopping Mall named after Ana Cardoso Maia de Oliveira Lima. This initiative runs from March 10 to March 31, 2026, with applications to be submitted online, and the Secretary has provided a tutorial to guide potential applicants through the registration process.
The selected new vendors will benefit from a 40% discount on their monthly rental fees, as outlined in Law 11.749/2025. Monthly rents for food stalls range from R$ 211.94 to R$ 254.87, while the trailers will incur a monthly cost of R$ 852.39. This subsidy is designed to stimulate local entrepreneurship and attract more food options to the community's dining experience at the mall.
The initiative reflects the cityβs ongoing efforts to boost local economic activity and support small businesses, providing a platform for new entrepreneurs to establish themselves in a prominent location. By facilitating this process and offering financial incentives, Presidente Prudente aims to enhance the vibrancy and attractiveness of the Popular Shopping Mall, thereby encouraging community engagement and shopping patronage.
