Actor Faisal Malik, known for his role in 'Panchayat', has joined the cast of the anticipated film 'Ramayanam' to play Kumbhkaran.
In the highly awaited film 'Ramayanam', directed by Nitesh Tiwari, there has been buzz around the casting ever since its announcement. Initially, Bobby Deol was rumored to portray Kumbhkaran, Ravana's brother, but recent reports indicate that Faisal Malik, known for his notable role in 'Panchayat', has now been officially cast for this powerful character. According to an exclusive report by HT, Faisal Malik has been actively involved in the introduction scene of Kumbhkaran, filmed at Mumbai's Prime Focus studio and executed with an international action team. The scene reportedly features advanced graphics and is likened to the film 'Avatar'. Insights also suggest that major fight sequences for the second part of the filming are yet to be shot, which could significantly impact the film’s action portrayal.
Faisal Malik's physical stature is considered ideally suited for the role, with sources noting that his height and robust build align well with Kumbhkaran's character traits.
