Iran launched its "Sejil" ballistic missile against Israel for the first time and threatened Netanyahu: "We will pursue him relentlessly"

Iran's Revolutionary Guard has announced the first use of its solid-fueled ballistic missile 'Sejil' against Israel, threatening Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu with relentless pursuit.

On Sunday, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced a significant escalation in military actions by deploying the 'Sejil' ballistic missile, marking its first strike against Israel. This missile has a range of up to 2,000 kilometers and is capable of rapid launch from mobile platforms. The announcement came through a statement released by the Mehr news agency, detailing the capabilities of the 'Sejil', which can carry warheads weighing between 500 and 1,000 kilos. The missile was part of a larger military operation targeting military installations and Israeli troop concentrations.

The IRGC's actions included a wave of attacks that commenced with a series of bombings involving ten ballistic missiles and drones aimed at American command centers and Israeli targets throughout the Middle East, extending to locations such as the United Arab Emirates. This denotes a substantial increase in Iranian military capabilities and willingness to engage in direct confrontation, igniting concerns over regional security and escalating tensions between Israel and Iran.

The threats made against Prime Minister Netanyahu are particularly notable, signaling a significant shift in Iran's rhetoric. The statement reflects Iran's intent to pursue retaliation against Israeli leadership actively. This development risks further inflaming already volatile relations in the region and could lead to significant geopolitical repercussions, impacting everything from international relations to military strategy in the Middle East.
