The price of stock electricity in Finland has seen a notable decline, with averages for the coming days reflecting much lower rates than earlier this year. On Sunday, the average price was reported at 4.735 cents per kilowatt hour, dropping further to 3.524 cents on Monday. Consumers can expect fluctuations in pricing throughout the day, with the cheapest electricity priced at 1.475 cents early Monday morning, while the highest rates peak at 6.875 cents mid-morning. The price variations are a stark contrast to the record highs experienced at the beginning of the year, where rates were over 60 cents per kilowatt hour in January and February.
