After being elected as Iran's new Supreme Leader on the 8th, Moztaba Hamenei has not made any public appearances, prompting the United States to repeatedly mention rumors regarding his health and even death. In an interview with NBC on the 14th, former President Donald Trump expressed uncertainty about Hamenei's status, stating that no one has seen him and suggesting he may need to consider surrendering for the sake of the country if he is alive. However, Trump also labeled the death rumors as 'baseless' and mere 'rumors'. Meanwhile, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi denied any issues regarding Hamenei, affirming that he is performing his duties in accordance with the constitution.
