Duo invades building in SP and leaves minutes later with banker’s suitcase; WATCH
Two suspects invaded a residence in Cubatão, São Paulo, stealing various items from a banker while she was at work.
A 33-year-old banker from Cubatão had her apartment invaded while she was working in São Paulo, with the thieves taking several valuable items including cash, a laptop, jewelry, and shoes valued at around R$ 1,000. This robbery took place on October 10 in the Vila Nova neighborhood, with the suspects reportedly using the victim's own suitcase to carry away the stolen goods.
Security camera footage captured the entire incident, beginning with a man entering the building's garage holding an umbrella at 12:39 PM, followed shortly by another suspect who also carried an umbrella and a backpack. The first suspect ascended to the residential area while the second remained outside for a few minutes, before both emerged carrying the suitcase just six minutes later, which they did not have upon entering the building.
As of now, the authorities have not identified any suspects related to the crime. The rapid execution of the burglary and the use of the victim's belongings to transport stolen items highlight the increasing agility and boldness of criminals in urban areas, raising concerns about resident safety and the effectiveness of security measures in residential buildings.
