A serious car accident occurred on Saturday afternoon in Volta Redonda, Brazil, involving three vehicles and resulting in two injuries. The incident took place around noon on Avenida Almirante Adalberto de Barros Nunes in the Vila Mury neighborhood. According to the Military Police, one of the vehicles involved in the crash had already been removed from the scene by the time authorities arrived.

After receiving medical treatment and being discharged, the driver suspected of causing the accident returned to the scene to face further scrutiny. Subsequently, they were taken to the Municipal Guard's headquarters to undergo a breathalyzer test to determine if alcohol had influenced their driving.
