At the women's pursuit race of the biathlon World Cup stage in Otepää, Finnish athlete Suvi Minkkinen secured an impressive second place, greatly influenced by the enthusiastic support of Estonian fans. Minkkinen was pleasantly surprised by the volume of cheers and applause while racing, which created a home-like atmosphere as she competed. The event saw her starting from a lower position and making substantial progress during the race.
