Robin Packalen, a Finnish singer, shared a terrifying experience that occurred while he was staying in a hotel in Jackson, Mississippi, during the world tour of DJ Alan Walker. In an interview with Ilta-Sanomat, Packalen described the atmosphere of Jackson as eerie, likening the city center to a 'ghost town' due to the presence of only intoxicated individuals roaming around.

His alarming encounter happened in the early hours of the morning when he was awakened by loud banging noises. Concerned by the unusual sounds and flashing lights outside his window, he curiously peeked outside to investigate what was happening. To his shock, he witnessed a scene of chaos as two men were openly firing a firearm in the parking lot of the hotel.

In response to the panic the situation created, Packalen quickly closed the window blinds and resorted to lying flat on the floor in a fetal position for safety. Thankfully, the terrifying event concluded swiftly; however, the experience left a deep impression on the singer, who expressed disbelief at the violence occurring just outside his hotel room in a seemingly quiet area.
