Ukraine's national oil and gas company, Naftogaz, along with the Foreign Ministry, conducted a briefing for representatives from 31 different countries to discuss the recent attacks by Russia on the Druzhba oil pipeline infrastructure. The briefing included comprehensive materials showcasing the nature of these attacks, which were illustrated through photos and videos collected from the incident sites. The aim was to provide foreign diplomats with a clear understanding of the challenges faced by Ukraine in the aftermath of these assaults.

During the briefing, Serhii Koretskyi, CEO of Naftogaz Group, highlighted the complexities involved in repairing the pipeline, emphasizing that it is a technically challenging process that necessitates specific equipment and skilled labor. Moreover, this work must be conducted under the constant threat of subsequent attacks from Russia, making the restoration of the pipeline not only a logistical challenge but also a significant security concern. This has raised issues regarding the reliability and stability of energy supplies, which are critical during the ongoing conflict.
