In Cruz das Almas, a man was arrested after allegedly committing sexual harassment against a 32-year-old female store owner. The incident occurred on Friday, October 13, inside a women's fashion store located in the town's main square. According to the Military Police, they were called to the scene following a report that the man had exposed himself and acted inappropriately in front of the victim.

Upon receiving the complaint, officers responded promptly and took the victim's statement. She had managed to flee the store and seek assistance after the alarming incident. The suspect, who resides in the rural area of Sapeaçu, was located and detained shortly afterwards. Both individuals were taken to the Territorial Delegation in Cruz das Almas, where the police registered the occurrence and officially recorded the arrest.
