In the second round of the Estonian Premium League, FC Nõmme United showcased a remarkable performance by defeating Pärnu JK Vapruse with a staggering score of 7-1 at home. Nõmme United, which returned to the Premium League this season, initially led by a score of 2-1 at halftime, thanks to goals from Zakaria Beglarišvili and Dacosta Owusu. However, the second half saw United increase their scoring significantly, netting five more goals and signaling their attacking prowess.
The second half opened strongly for Nõmme United with Henri Järvelaid and Yosuke Morishige scoring quickly to extend the lead to 4-1 within the first eight minutes. As the game progressed, Egert Õunapuu added two more goals in the 70th and 74th minutes, further demoralizing Pärnu JK. Ricky Chanda capped the scoring with a goal in the 80th minute, while Zakaria Beglarišvili also contributed three assists, illustrating his crucial role in the match.
Meanwhile, FC Kuressaare celebrated their first victory of the season by beating Tartu Tammeka 3-2, following an earlier loss in the first round. They took the lead thanks to a goal from Rasmus Talu at the 33rd minute. Despite their loss, Tammeka remains in search of their first points of the season as they look to bounce back in upcoming matches. With Nõmme United scheduled to face Tartu Tammeka next week, both teams will aim to improve on their early-season records in this competitive league.
