Monalisa's marriage connection with PFI, director said - deliver justice
Director Sanoj Mishra is upset about Monalisa's marriage, claiming it has ties to love jihad and radical organizations.
Monalisa, who gained fame through the recent Mahakumbh celebrations, created a stir by marrying Farmaan Khan in Kerala. This decision has incited a strong backlash from Sanoj Mishra, the director of her debut film, who expressed his anger through a video shared on social media. In this video, he alleges that Monalisa's marriage is connected to love jihad, a term used in India to describe interfaith marriages influenced by extremism. He claimed that radical organizations are using such marriages to deceive innocent individuals.
In the video, Mishra accuses the PFI and other extremist groups of orchestrating Monalisa's marriage to exploit and mislead the tribal community, referring to them as 'innocent nomads.' He emphasized that the rapid issuance of a marriage certificate proves the existence of a robust network supporting such agendas. Furthermore, he highlighted that Monalisa’s father claims she is underage, raising legal and ethical concerns regarding the marriage, which adds another layer of complexity to the situation.
Mishra stated his intention to advocate for justice for the nomadic community and expose what he considers a conspiracy by extremists, as he plans to travel to Monalisa's village in the Khargone district of Madhya Pradesh. His public condemnation of the marriage and plea for justice highlights ongoing tensions surrounding interfaith marriages in India, particularly in regions where such alliances are viewed through the lens of extremism and manipulation.
