Guests can stroll in traditional costumes at solidarity meeting

The Kalak Greenlandic Friends Society is hosting a solidarity meeting today at the Nordic House, featuring speeches and exhibitions by Greenlandic artists, as well as performances by musicians. Attendees can immerse themselves in Greenlandic culture by wearing traditional costumes. Jósep Gíslason, the chairman of the society, expresses excitement for a vibrant and heartfelt gathering, which is also supported by notable figures such as Bryndís Haraldsdóttir, a parliament member and Nordic Council member.

The event promises to be a showcase of Greenlandic heritage, with various presentations including speeches from the consuls of Greenland and the Faroe Islands. Additionally, the gathering will feature a display of books about Greenland, traditional costumes, and artifacts that highlight Greenland's unique culture.
