Breaking | Iranian Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters: We announce to UAE leaders that we have the right to strike the source of missiles in shipping ports and the shelters of American soldiers
Iran's Khatam al-Anbiya headquarters warns UAE leaders of legitimate strikes against American military interests in response to recent U.S. actions.
The Iranian Khatam al-Anbiya headquarters, which is the highest command authority in the Iranian armed forces, has issued a threat to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), asserting its right to strike at the source of missiles in UAE shipping ports and American military shelters. This warning comes in light of recent U.S. missile attacks on Iranian islands, which the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps claims have made American interests in the UAE legitimate targets. The statement also urged Emirati citizens to evacuate ports and shipping docks to avoid harm from potential strikes.
The Iranian military's threats highlight the escalating tensions in the region, particularly following U.S. military actions that Iran perceives as aggressive. Notably, the U.S. military had targeted the islands of Abu Musa and Khark due to the alleged destruction of its bases in the area. This military escalation points to a significant deterioration in relations between the U.S. and Iran, raising concerns about the safety of both military personnel and civilian shipping operations in the Gulf region.
In response to these heightened threats, the Emirate of Fujairah, a major refueling center for ships, reported a fire caused by debris during an interception of a drone, though no injuries occurred. Reports indicate that oil loading operations at Fujairah's port might also have been affected. This development underscores the risky environment for shipping and military activities in the region as both nations navigate their fraught relationship.
