Document reveals: The teenage murderer's mother had a sinister plan - “He will get life anyway”
A Finnish mother concealed her teenage son, who is suspected of murder, and devised escape strategies while contemplating blaming him for drug charges.
A shocking case has emerged in Finland involving a mother who hid her teenage son, suspected of murder, in a rental hall in Lahti last August. Recent police investigation materials have shed light on her disturbing plans, which included contemplating fleeing the country with her son or alone. In a chilling twist, she also considered shifting the blame for drug possession onto her son, believing that he would receive a life sentence regardless of the circumstances surrounding the crime.
The incident unfolded when the 15-year-old boy was accused of killing a 52-year-old man, which led to police attention on the rental hall where the mother was hiding her son. Following the murder, the mother picked her son up from Kausala on August 24. A day later, police apprehended the boy outside the rental hall, discovering a kilo of amphetamines inside, launching suspicions of serious drug-related offenses against him.
As the investigation progressed, police interrogated the teenager while he was incarcerated in Turku prison in October 2025, where he reportedly denied any knowledge of the drugs, claiming he was merely there to look after a dog. This case raises serious questions regarding the influences and decisions of family members in the face of grave legal charges and the implications that arise from shielding a loved one from justice.
