The city government of São José dos Campos has authorized a technical study to assess the feasibility of establishing a vertipoint— a simplified structure for the takeoff and landing of electric vertical take-off and landing vehicles (eVTOLs) — in front of the Farma Conde Arena located in the West Zone of the city. This development is part of the city’s visionary approach toward integrating cutting-edge transportation technologies to make urban mobility more efficient. The vertipoint is designed for quick operations, lacking the full infrastructure typically associated with traditional airports.
