The Department of Roads of Rio Grande do Norte (DER-RN) recently announced plans to strengthen barricades on a bridge along RN-408, which connects the municipalities of Carnaubais and Alto do Rodrigues. This bridge was officially closed to traffic on March 6 for safety reasons, as it has been observed to 'shake' when vehicles pass over it. However, it has come to the attention of authorities that even after the closure, some drivers have ignored the interdiction and continued to use the bridge, prompting the DER-RN to take further action.
