Ambulance stolen in front of UAI after armed thief holds the driver in Uberlândia

An ambulance belonging to the City of Uberlândia was stolen early Friday morning in front of the Unidade de Atendimento Integrado (UAI) in the São Jorge neighborhood. The crime involved an armed man who threatened the ambulance driver. According to the military police, despite the alarming nature of the incident, the ambulance was located a few hours later in the Novo Mundo neighborhood, but the suspect responsible for the theft has not been identified or apprehended as of now.

The Municipal Health Department has reported the incident and has filed a police report while providing all necessary information for the ongoing investigation.
