Pemex begins training of 291 specialist doctors and increases investment in health services
Pemex has commenced the training of 291 resident doctors across 23 specialized programs, while also enhancing its investment in health services.
On the occasion of the start of the academic cycle for medical residencies at Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex), 291 resident doctors have joined one of the 23 training programs offered. Additionally, 283 residents have completed their training as specialists. This initiative reflects Pemex’s commitment to strengthening medical education within the institution. The ceremony was led by Marcela Villegas Silva, the Director of Administration and Services, and Ruy López Ridaura, the Deputy Director of Health Services. Recognitions were awarded to outstanding students in various specialties including Gynecology and Obstetrics, Critical Medicine, General Surgery, and Traumatology and Orthopedics, highlighting academic excellence.
