"We are trembling kids!": the scare of a host in Tucumán due to a strong earthquake that shook northern Chile

A strong earthquake in northern Chile triggered alarm in Argentina, particularly in Tucumán, where a radio host captured the moment of shock on live air.

On Friday, a significant 6.5 magnitude earthquake struck off the northern coast of Atacama, Chile, causing noticeable tremors in various provinces of Argentina, including Tucumán. At approximately 10:39 AM, the earthquake, originating 41 kilometers southwest of Huasco and at a depth of about 26 kilometers, was reported by both Chile's National Seismological Center and Argentina's National Institute for Seismic Prevention (Inpres).
