Over the past four years, Ukraine has accumulated significant experience in combatting drone threats, which could be beneficial for the protection of U.S. bases in the Persian Gulf area. This offer comes as Ukrainian specialists are already providing support in the region, while Washington diplomats are aiming to leverage this collaboration to aid Ukraine's own victory in its ongoing conflict. President Volodymyr Zelensky had previously proposed this assistance during a visit to the White House in August, but at that time it did not garner interest from the U.S. side.

Since the outbreak of war in Iran, the situation has shifted markedly, with both the U.S. and several countries in the Middle East now officially requesting Ukraine's help. Ukraine possesses the necessary knowledge and technology to effectively shoot down Iranian-made "Shahed" drones, which Russia has deployed in substantial numbers against Ukraine during the ongoing war. Ukrainian experts have already begun arriving in the Middle East to engage in this critical endeavor.
