A new comprehensive book about Estonia's forest brotherhood provides an overview of the resistance movement against Soviet occupation.

A thorough new book titled "Forest Brotherhood: Resistance Against Soviet Occupation Powers" has been released in collaboration between the Estonian War Museum and the Estonian Memory Institute. This comprehensive work is part of the series "Between War and Peace" and marks the first time a cohesive overview of Estonia's forest brotherhood history has been compiled, placing it within the broader geopolitical context of occupied Estonia. The book, resulting from the joint efforts of nine authors, aims to enlighten those interested in Estonia's resistance history and details the formation, organization, and various strategies used by forest brothers, as well as the actions taken by Soviet authorities to suppress resistance efforts.
