Borno State, under the leadership of Governor Babagana Zulum, is set to recruit 473 medical personnel as part of an initiative to bolster healthcare delivery throughout the region. This decision was announced by the Chief Medical Director of the Borno State Hospitals Management Board, Prof. Abubakar Kullima, emphasizing that the move addresses existing manpower shortages and aims to improve the quality of healthcare services available to the public.

The recruitment will encompass a diverse array of health professionals, including medical doctors, nurses, pharmacists, laboratory scientists, Community Health Extension Workers (CHEWs), and additional essential staff.
