Gabia Socorro da Silva was killed on September 10 in São José do Xingu, having been stabbed to death. Stefane Pereira Soares was just 17 years old, illustrating the tragic vulnerability of young women in the region. Simone da Silva Matiuzi was run over and is said to have been the victim directly linked to her partner, with the primary suspect being her boyfriend.
