President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine has revealed that the country is currently evaluating six specific requests for assistance from Middle Eastern countries. This announcement came during a joint media briefing with French President Emmanuel Macron, highlighting Ukraine's ongoing diplomatic efforts to garner international support. Zelenskyy mentioned that military officials, along with the secretary of the National Security and Defence Council, will return from the Gulf region by the end of the week, signaling the government's intent to assess the nature of the support being sought by its partners.

Zelenskyy also pointed out that Ukraine has actively engaged in providing expertise to three different Middle Eastern nations, reflecting the country's expanding role and influence in the region. Additionally, he mentioned that there is a separate request from the United States concerning support for Jordan. This indicates a level of strategic collaboration with both Middle Eastern and Western allies as Ukraine navigates the complex geopolitical landscape amidst its ongoing resistance against Russia.

Lastly, the president emphasized that while these Middle Eastern countries, along with the US and European nations, possess interceptor drones, their operational efficacy may be hampered without the involvement of Ukrainian military personnel and specialized training.
