Marco Odermatt, the Swiss ski racer, has solidified his standing in the Alpine skiing circuit by earning a third-place finish at the World Cup event held in Courchevel, France, while simultaneously ensuring his overall victory for the season. With six races remaining, Odermatt has totaled 1,590 points, significantly leading the second-place contender, Brazilian Lucas Pinheiro Braathen, by 632 points, rendering the competition effectively moot.
