The XXIII Agricultural Fair of Campo Mourão will take place on March 27 and 28, featuring discussions on agricultural innovations and challenges ahead of projected record harvests for 2026.
The XXIII Agricultural Fair of Campo Mourão, organized by the Integrated University Center and other agricultural institutes, is scheduled to occur on March 27 and 28 at Eco Campus in Campo Mourão, Paraná. This year’s theme focuses on 'Innovation that Generates Production in the Field,' reflecting the emphasis on modern agricultural practices and technology in the region. Entry to the event is free, and it is expected to attract around 6,000 visitors, including rural producers, students, local residents, and public authorities.
The fair will include crucial discussions on the technologies and financial management challenges they face as Brazil anticipates record-breaking agricultural production by 2026, with forecasts suggesting the Paraná region could yield up to 22 million tons of soybeans. Additionally, there is an optimistic outlook for a strong recovery in corn crops. However, experts warn of the need for caution due to the global pressures affecting commodity prices, which can impact the financial viability of local farmers.
About 120 companies from the entire agricultural production chain will participate in the event, showcasing the latest innovations in both plant and animal production. This fair serves not only as a marketplace for agricultural goods but also as an essential platform for knowledge exchange and networking among stakeholders in the agriculture sector, highlighting the importance of innovation in addressing the challenges of modern farming.
