The Navigator Assembly 2026 successfully convened over 300 representatives from the shipping industry in Athens, marking an important moment in Greek maritime history as it celebrates 25 years of the NAVIGATOR forum.

On March 10, 2026, the Navigator Assembly took place at the Grand Hyatt Athens, attracting more than 300 representatives from shipowners, maritime service providers, and industry organizations, including 15 embassies and 18 maritime groups. This year's assembly held special importance as it coincided with the 25th anniversary of the NAVIGATOR forum, a leading platform for dialogue, innovation, and the exchange of ideas within the shipping sector spanning nearly three decades.

The event was inaugurated by Danae Bezantakou, CEO of Navigator Shipping Consultants, who acknowledged the contributions of over 10,000 participants in the last 25 years, recognizing their support for one of the longest-running private initiatives in maritime conferences. This continuity highlights the significance of collaboration and shared experiences in tackling the evolving challenges faced by the shipping industry.

As the global shipping landscape continues to confront new challenges, the discussions at the assembly focused on important issues such as sustainability, technological advancements, and the regulatory environment. The assembly serves not only as a celebration of the past but also as a platform to address future challenges, positioning the Greek maritime community at a pivotal junction in a rapidly changing global environment.
