The forecaster announces where changes in the weather will begin in Lithuania
The weather forecast indicates a warm day in Lithuania with slight chances of rain and increased wind speeds.
On Friday morning, many areas of Lithuania will experience foggy or cloudy conditions, which are expected to dissipate throughout the day as the sun emerges. The likelihood of rain is low, though light drizzles may occur amidst the fog. The afternoon will see strengthening southwest winds blowing at speeds of 8–13 m/s, and temperatures are forecasted to rise to 10–15 degrees Celsius, with some southern regions reaching up to 16–17 degrees. Despite the increasing warmth, the strong wind will reduce the perceived temperature.
On Saturday, weather conditions across Lithuania will be influenced by a high-pressure area over Eastern Europe. Nighttime will be characterized by mostly clear skies with no precipitation expected. A moderate southern wind blowing at 5–10 m/s will contribute to the weather changes, while early morning temperatures will drop to 0–5 degrees Celsius. With a combination of these conditions, there may also be the possibility of icy spots and fog in the morning.
Throughout Saturday, the weather is expected to be sunny, with only a few more clouds anticipated in the western edge of the country. Rain is not expected, and the southern wind will strengthen to 7–12 m/s, leading to a warm day, especially in the second half when temperatures could soar significantly. This forecast outlines an overall pleasant transition into the warmer season for Lithuania, with notable changes in the weather as spring approaches.
