Netanyahu: Don’t Take Life Insurance ... Puppet of the Revolutionary Guards

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu intensifies his rhetoric against Iran's new Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, asserting he would not approve any life insurance for him and condemning his association with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

In a recent online press conference, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu targeted Iran's new Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, accusing him of being a puppet of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). Netanyahu remarked that if he were in charge, he would not approve any life insurance for Khamenei, emphasizing the threats posed by the new leadership amidst ongoing tensions. He highlighted that Khamenei is viewed as a direct target for Israeli military action due to his statements regarding the military's capabilities and threats against Israel.

Netanyahu discussed the substantial impact of recent military actions against Iran, claiming that the IRGC and the Basij militia have suffered significant setbacks and that Iran is no longer the formidable military challenge it once was. He downplayed Iran's military power, asserting that the country no longer possesses the capability to unite against external threats following the U.S. and Israeli strikes. In this context, he also mentioned the assassination of top Iranian nuclear scientists as a part of the strategy to dismantle Iran's nuclear and ballistic missile programs.

The Israeli Prime Minister further warned Hezbollah, a pro-Iran militant group in Lebanon, of dire consequences if it continues its alignment with Iranian interests. He indicated that Israel is ready to hold Hezbollah accountable and encouraged the Lebanese government to act preemptively. Additionally, Netanyahu acknowledged the limits of Israel's influence in fostering an internal uprising in Iran, suggesting that while conditions may be set for regime change, the ultimate responsibility lies with Iranian citizens. Through these statements, Netanyahu seeks to reinforce Israel's military resolve while also reflecting the complexity of achieving regime change in Iran without direct intervention.
