Man found dead with stab wounds in Bauru stadium

A 40-year-old man was discovered dead in a Bauru stadium with multiple stab wounds and signs of significant trauma.

On Thursday morning, a 40-year-old man named Danilo Aparecido Oliveira was found dead inside the Estádio Distrital da Vila Dutra in Bauru, São Paulo. The local military police were greeted by the victim's uncle at the scene, who informed them that the victim often visited the stadium, a known drug trafficking hotspot, particularly near the public restrooms.

Upon examination, the body showed severe injuries, particularly to the head, along with approximately ten stab wounds throughout the torso that were consistent with knife attacks. Emergency services, including the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu), confirmed the man's death on-site, and the body was subsequently sent to the Medical Legal Institute (IML) for further investigation.

As of the last update, there has been no identification of the suspect responsible for this crime. The local Civil Police are actively investigating the incident, which raises significant concerns about violence and safety in areas known for illicit activities, such as drug trafficking in the vicinity of the stadium.
