On Thursday, reports surfaced regarding a shooting incident at the Temple Israel synagogue located in a suburb of Detroit, Michigan. According to FBI Director Kash Patel, the suspected perpetrator drove a vehicle into the building. Oakland County Police Chief Michael Bouchard confirmed that the individual crashed through the doors of the synagogue, prompting the security personnel to return fire. The suspected shooter was later found dead in the vehicle, however, the circumstances of their death remain unclear.

The synagogue, which operates a daycare facility serving children as young as six weeks old, fortunately reported that both the children and staff were unharmed. Nevertheless, one of the security guards was hospitalized after being struck by the vehicle but is currently in stable condition.
