CBOS Survey. KO still leads. All coalition partners still below the threshold
A recent CBOS survey shows the Civic Coalition leading with 29.2% support, while other parties struggle to surpass the electoral threshold.
A recent survey conducted by CBOS suggests that if elections were held in the first half of March, approximately 75.2% of eligible voters would participate. The Civic Coalition (KO) continues to maintain its lead with 29.2% of respondents indicating they would vote for the party, despite a slight decrease of 0.4 percentage points compared to February's survey. This indicates a stable yet cautious position for the KO as they prepare for upcoming elections.
Following the KO is the ruling Law and Justice party (PiS), with 21.1% of respondents expressing their intention to vote for them. This reflects an increase of 2.8 percentage points from the previous month's survey, indicating a potential resurgence in support for PiS. Meanwhile, the Confederation party, which includes parties such as Wolność i Niepodległość, has seen a decrease in support to 11.1%, down 2.3 percentage points compared to the last survey, while the Polish Crown Confederation led by Grzegorz Braun has gained slightly to 11%.
The shifting dynamics of voter support highlighted in the poll suggest a competitive atmosphere in Polish politics, with coalition partners struggling to stay above the electoral threshold. This poses challenges for the coalition's overall stability and strategy heading into the elections, as they face mounting pressure to secure a broader base while attempting to retain their current supporters.
