AADE: Payments of support for the second quarter of 2026
The AADE has announced the schedule for payments of agricultural support for the second quarter of 2026, which will include both pending applications from previous years and new applications for 2025.
The Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) in Greece has unveiled its plan for the disbursement of agricultural support payments for the second quarter of 2026. This initiative is aligned with the implementation of interventions under the Common Agricultural Policy and related programs aimed at supporting the primary sector. The payments will encompass applications from the year 2025, as well as outstanding applications from previous years, ensuring that assistance reaches farmers in a timely manner.
The payment schedule indicated that by April 9, 2026, various payments will be made, including those related to older applications from 2016 and 2017, along with payments for the so-called Basic Income Support and associated funds specifically for cotton, young farmers, and connected systems for grains. This structured approach not only addresses outstanding issues from prior years but also aims to provide immediate assistance to current applicants, thus bolstering the agricultural economy in Greece.
Additionally, by April 30, 2026, more payments related to the 2025 application year will be executed, which includes logistical support for the smaller Aegean islands. The systematic approach taken by the AADE demonstrates a commitment to supporting farmers through consistent and predictable funding, which is crucial for the sustainability of agricultural practices in Greece. Through these measures, the Greek government aims to enhance the livelihood of its farmers and stimulate growth within the agricultural sector.
