The Israeli army stated that Hezbollah launched its largest attack against Israel since the beginning of the war, coinciding with missile strikes from Iran.
On Thursday, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) reported that Hezbollah initiated the largest attack on Israel since the onset of the conflict, occurring simultaneously with Iranian missile launches. According to IDF spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Nadav Soshani, Hezbollah's assault involved the firing of approximately 200 rockets and the deployment of around 20 drones targeting various towns and communities across Israel. The spokesperson emphasized that this marked a significant escalation in hostilities, attributing it to coordinated efforts between Hezbollah and Iranian forces.
Lieutenant Colonel Soshani highlighted that the Israeli air defenses were effective, resulting in minimal casualties despite the scale of the attack. He reported only two to three direct hits and a few injuries among residents, suggesting that Israel's defense systems were able to mitigate the potential damage.
