On March 12, Iranian Ambassador to Mexico Abolfazl Pasandideh called on President Claudia Sheinbaum's government to denounce the aggressive rhetoric of U.S. President Donald Trump towards Iran. He warned that a victory for the U.S. could potentially lead to military actions against other nations, including Mexico and Cuba. This statement aligns with Iran's attempts to gather international support against what it sees as hostile military actions backed by Washington and Israel.
During an interview with journalist Ciro Gómez Leyva, Pasandideh expressed that Iran is seeking solidarity from other nations regarding its current conflicts, emphasizing the serious implications of U.S. foreign policy.
