A movie will be made from the series Queen of Fucking Everything

The popular series Queen of Fucking Everything will be adapted into a movie focusing on a different character than the original protagonist.

The hit series Queen of Fucking Everything is set to continue in the form of a movie, following a decision made by the Finnish Film Foundation in March. Unlike the series, in which Lauri Malmivaara's character Linda Saarniluoto played the central role, the new film will spotlight another character, revealing a fresh narrative perspective for viewers. This shift indicates an expansion of the story's universe beyond its original protagonist.

The upcoming film, titled King of Fucking Everything, will center around Linda's ex-husband Mikael Schoulten, portrayed by Jussi Nikkilä. The plot delves into Mikael's life, marked by themes of shame and instability. Rather than leading a conventional lifestyle, Mikael is depicted as residing in run-down places and seeking out broken individuals to manipulate, creating a picture of a flawed and vacuous character. This character study hints at deeper societal issues around the nature of personal relationships and the pursuit of identity.

As the narrative unfolds, the film will explore Mikael’s journey, showcasing his struggles and instabilities. The idea of a broken man searching for solace amid chaos offers a profound commentary on contemporary life, while also retaining the series' hallmark irreverence and emotional depth. This new adaptation has the potential to resonate with existing fans of the show while attracting a broader audience intrigued by its themes of despair and redemption.
